Update on NRAM
NRAM has ceased to operate as a lender. All live customer accounts were sold and transferred to other lenders between October 2013 and October 2023. Please see below for more information about the transfer of mortgages and loans.

Information for former customers
If you have a query regarding a charge on a property that is still held in the name of NRAM, we can help.

The following information should be provided with the letter:
- Solicitor name
- Solicitor telephone number
- Solicitor address
- Borrower full name(s)
- Borrowers date(s) of birth
- Mortgage account number (if known)
- Property address, including postcode
- Title number
- The date the account was redeemed
- Date of charge
- Who the charge is in favour of
- The type of charge. E.g., a legal charge, an equitable charge or a restriction.
Once we’ve received your letter, our team will try to deal with your query as quickly as possible and will correspond with your solicitor directly as required.
Please note – if the charge is now held in the name of another organisation following the sale or transfer of the mortgage from NRAM, we won’t be able to help. You will need to visit our Sales and transfers of mortgages and loans page to find the correct contact details to use.
